VP of Product
Direct Hire

  • Start up experience, supporting SaaS products
  • Ideally 10+ years product management experience
  • 5 plus years leading strategy for product development
  • Experience developing products in the Health Care space that make the patients life better.

We are seeking an experienced, VP of Product Management to join us in our commitment to improve the way healthcare providers use technology when delivering care. As a candidate, you should have a deep understanding of clinical software solutions and have worked in a successful startup organization. You should be comfortable partnering with leaders across the company to define and design industry-leading solutions.

In this role, you will play a critical part in growing and leading our product organization and drive our go-to-market strategy through the pivotal startup period for our company. You will report directly to the CEO and serve as a member of the Senior Leadership team.

The product team is responsible for all aspects of our technology stack to support key workflows and functions across the company. You will think holistically about our company’s vision, strategy, goals, and objectives and how to build a comprehensive product strategy and road map to deliver on the business needs.

You will take a hands-on role leading and managing–using your knowledge and experience to guide the business direction for the product team. You will directly manage a small but growing team to scale our business and serve our customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop and direct a product vision and roadmap including introduction of new products, new functionality, and services that materially expand market reach, delivering seamless, secure, and a reliable experience that delights our customers
• Understand the business objectives, challenges, and competitive pressures of key customers to create a product strategy that drives development efforts to solve the needs of our customers
• Serve as the key product voice on the leadership team, whether that’s as a cross functional collaborator with our go to market teams, or an advocate for how product can help us achieve our long-term strategic goals
• Manage the Product Management team day to day, including hiring, coaching, mentoring, and training of core PM skills
• Establish product planning processes, principles and culture ensuring the team is continuously becoming more efficient and working well together
• Use data to inform product decisions, but be comfortable making decisions quickly without it, informed by your intuition and product knowledge
• Deeply understand the market and our customers in order to build products that deliver value
• Able to navigate through technical requirements while simultaneously distilling and communicating complex subject matter to all business stakeholders
• Collaborate with key internal customers across the organization to develop requirements, prioritize features, and translate to the product roadmap while seeking to understand the voice of the customer
• Direct efforts with ongoing releases, partnering with the engineering teams to ensure capabilities and features continue to operate at or above all quality targets to deliver superior product performance
• Other duties as assigned


Education, Training and Professional Experience
• 10+ years of experience in a product role
• Prior experience working in a successful start-up environment and prior exposure to the clinical market is strongly desired
• Demonstrated success hiring, coaching, developing, and enabling a Product Management team
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to influence and manage up and across the organization
• Experience building great user experiences driving thoughtful and impactful interactions
• Tolerance for ambiguity and change, creativity in strategy and execution tactics, and always improving the status quo
