Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Program Manager to start in November. As a Program Manager for our client, your primary responsibility will be to ensure successful project delivery for both business and information technology stakeholders. Success in this role will be achieved by effectively communicating, organizing tasks, and collaborating across project teams and leadership. You will need to balance competing demands related to project scope, time, and budget. Additionally, you will work closely with IT project managers and business stakeholders to prioritize scope items. As a facilitator, you will bridge communication gaps between internal and external influences, ensuring timely delivery and well-maintained budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operational and transformation initiatives aligned with the organization’s overall vision, strategy, and goals. This includes areas such as membership and enrollment, claims, customer service, affordability, digital initiatives, pharmacy, network transformation, and more.
- Take on additional responsibility for implementing and executing the client’s long-term strategy and bringing our value proposition to life.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Healthcare background with experience in a Payer environment is highly desired.
- Leadership ability to lead meetings and engage a diverse array of individuals across all lines of business and product teams.
- Strong program and project management skills with a proven track record of managing complex projects to defined outcomes.
- Excellent communicator with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of transformation office and project management office development.
- Financial acumen and experience in business case development and budget management.
- Ability to engage a team in defining requirements and meeting or exceeding time commitments.
- Must be confident and competent in their role.
- Ability to present and engage effectively with leadership.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Business, or Public Health).
- Experience in healthcare program management, preferably with payors and health plans.
- Experience in building project management offices or transformation management offices.
